Rental agreement framework
This document records the commercial terms the renter, host and JAMDRIFF must accept. It is not active for paid trips until reviewed by Jamaican counsel and the insurance partner.
Eligibility
The renter must complete identity and licence verification and meet the vehicle’s age and driving requirements.
Authorized use
Only approved drivers may operate the vehicle. Racing, subleasing, unlawful use and driving outside approved territory are prohibited.
Payment and deposit
The renter authorizes rental charges, fees, extensions, tolls, fuel, cleaning, fines, damage and the disclosed refundable security deposit.
Inspection
The renter and host must record time-stamped vehicle photos at pickup and return.
Incidents
Accidents, theft or damage must be reported immediately to JAMDRIFF, the host, police where required and the insurance/assistance partner.
Cancellation
Refunds and cancellation charges follow the policy displayed before payment.
Privacy
Identity and trip data may be processed for verification, fraud prevention, payments, insurance and legal compliance.
